Hita v-neck vest (English)
Hita is a modern v-neck vest knitted in fisherman's rib. It combines the timeless charm of the classic fisherman's rib stitch with a sleek and contemporary v-neck design. Hita vest has snug ribbing and full length design and the fisherman's rib stitch creates a rich texture, adding depth and detail. Mohair makes the vest extra fluffy and it layers beautifully with summer dresses and t-shirts.
Hita is knitted top to bottom in flat. The front and back pieces are knitted separately and joined from the side seams at the end. The back piece is knitted first, and the shoulder seams are shaped using the European shoulder technique. The front piece is knitted top down, picking up the stitches from the shoulder seam. The V-neck is constructed by knitting the left and right shoulders separately up to the armpits. After that, the front piece is knitted in one piece to its full length. The vest is finished with ribbing at the neckline and sleeve openings.
