Elva sweater (English)
Elva is a chunky and oversized long funnel-neck sweater and it is perfect for those who appreciate minimalistic designs and simple knitting projects. Knitted in Aran weight yarn the finished piece has a lovely weight to it and it is a relatively fast knit to complete! Elva has a boxy fit and dropped shoulders making it the perfect oversized jumper you want to wear all the time. It is perfect for both casual outings and cosy nights at home. Pair it with your favourite jeans for a relaxed yet put-together look, or snuggle up on the couch with a good book and a cup of tea. No matter the occasion, Elva is your go-to companion<3
Elva is an easy pattern and suitable also for beginners!
Elva is an oversized sweater with extra-long sleeves. It is knitted from the bottom up in the round to the armpits, after which the front and back pieces are worked separately to their full lengths. The front and back pieces are cast off simultaneously with 3 needle bind-off, making the shoulder seam invisible. The stitches for the sleeves are picked up from the armhole, and the sleeves are knitted in the round from top to bottom.
